3. Does expensive essential oil mean it is pure?
No. High price may reflect costly production, but it can also reflect packaging, importing, retail rent and marketing. Purity requires relevant product evidence.
4. Why can two oils with the same name have different prices?
They may use different botanical species, plant parts, origins, extraction methods, dilution levels, batch sizes or sales channels.
5. Does organic essential oil always cost more?
Certification and compliant production may add cost, but market pricing varies. Organic certification also does not prove safe undiluted use or medical effectiveness.
6. Does GC–MS justify a higher price?
Real batch testing can add cost and provide useful compositional information. However, GC–MS does not prove every aspect of purity, freshness, safety or sourcing.
7. Is imported essential oil better than Vietnamese essential oil?
Not automatically. Imported products may cost more because of freight and distribution. Both imported and Vietnamese oils should be evaluated through identity, traceability, documentation and intended use.
8. What should I compare besides price?
Compare the product category, botanical name, plant part, extraction method, ingredients, dilution status, origin, batch information, packaging, storage and seller guidance.
